How to Restart an Android phone

Many issues with your mobile device can be resolved with a simple restart.

1. Press and Hold the Power Button. Press and hold the Power/Side Button (usually located on the right or top edge of your phone) for about 1–3 seconds.

2. Wait for the Power Menu. A menu should appear on your screen showing options like Power Off and Restart (or Reboot).

3. Tap Restart. Tap the Restart (or Reboot) option on the screen.

4. Confirm (if prompted). Some devices may ask you to confirm by tapping Restart again.

5. Wait for Boot Up. Your phone will shut down completely and then turn itself back on automatically. This process may take 30–60 seconds.
